History of project

The history of theESEIG's Librarycan be intertwined with the history of the School itself, starting its activity in the 1990-91 school year with the acquisition of recommended reading for the newly created Accounting and Management course, taught at the poles of Vila do Conde and Póvoa de Varzim.

With the change of temporary facilities for built from scratch, in the pole of Vila do Conde, in 1993, the Library building now has its own space, occupying two rooms, one for reading in the presence and another one functioning as study room.

In Póvoa de Varzim, the library finally had their own space due to enlargement of the primitive facilities and was inaugurated in 1996.

The book collection has been growing year after year, a consequence of the emergence of new courses, which were created.
